Hi, I`m Renae!

Self proclaimed slacker, bum and know-it-all. Child at heart. Amateur, charge-free photographer of sorts. Eloped in the great city of Chicago, IL Christmas Eve Eve, 2010 to become the legal pain-in-the-ass and nag to my lover and best friend of many years. Packed up and moved to Virginia Beach in July of 2011 to settle down as a “navy wife”. Hopeful that in many years to come, my future children will see this recollection of whims and anecdotes of my younger years and find motivation to flee the nest early on…or at least learn from my mistakes.

I’m: Kinda geeky. Generally happy. Vegetarian venturing into Pescetarianism. Care-free. Lover, not a fighter. Book worm.

I like things that make my ears happy. I prefer to shop off of the sale rack. Ask me to cook for you, I’ll gladly do it. I’ve been in love with cameras and photographs since the ripe age of three; it is not a fleeting love.

*This blog has a strong focus on music with undertones of vegetarian-friendly recipes. A secondary focus is aesthetically pleasing images, found on the internet, reblogged or taken with my own lenses. You’ll frequently find posts to do with the military and Navy as I am a loving Navy wife. I also post things to do with home decor and and sometimes I’ll sneak a little fashion in. Lastly, you’ll find a lot of my personal rants and ravings throughout this blog. It’s kind of like the best of all worlds rolled into one. :)
