I need to update my wardrobe too. It’s hard to stray away from old habits though.. lol. And it’s hard to find the money to do it.

Yes, yes, and yes! I think the best advice, though, that I’ve gotten from my mom about updating my closet is that at first, when you start buying clothes, buy clothes that are versatile. Things like sweaters can become something totally different if you wear a collar shirt underneath it. And definitely buy stuff that you can “dress up” or “dress down”. Which is what I’m trying to keep in mind. That way you have a wider spectrum of options with not that many articles.
