my friend Casey, who is a marine, just called me and told me that i should watch this and i should say something.. so, i was like alright whatever.. i dont know if any of my military or military S/O’S have seen this but i down right despise this girl and everything she says in the video. she needs to stop talking when she doesn’t know what she is talking about. no my boyfriend isnt dumb, evil or morally compromised.. he wants to fight for everyones freedom.. including this bitches right to talk shit about him when he is in danger every day.
Dumb bitch is dumb.
And yeah, I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I respect that. But, what irks me so much about this video is the fact that she goes on and on about how military personnel are “really, really dumb” for joining because they “quote don’t know what they’re really fighting for”. How she compares people who decide to enlist to truly sick people like serial killers. And to that I say:
Dear Cleavage,
1. Do you know where our troops are currently located? I mean, can you name off where every ship or division is located? Not every person in the military is off shooting an Iraqi in the face. There are a lot of military men and women going off on deployment to help areas in need. Like areas that have been hit with devastating natural disasters. They’re not there to fight, they’re there to HELP. Man, someone who joined to help others is SO. DUMB.
2. How do you know that the military is fighting for Exxon Mobile and British Petroleum? Were you debriefed and sworn into a top, secured position of the military where you know definitively these things? Are you over there when a group of soldiers were given the order to fire? Odds are, you have no legitimate information to go by than what you saw on Facebook and Wikipedia.
3. Yeah, we live in a day when any information is at our fingertips thanks to the internet. But, let me pose this thought to you, who said everything on the internet was factual?
We’re allowed base our own opinions on a circumstance. And we, beings of free thought, are going to do so, especially when the topic is something as heated as war. However, how DARE you rudely and cruelly insult hard-working people? If you’re so upset about this war, then do something other than sit there on your Facebook insulting your brothers and sisters for a decision that just so happened to be to join the military. If you’re SO outraged, insult the people controlling this war. Not the people who are given an order to do something. Like it or not, the majority of military are grunt workers. People who have no control over what’s going on. Who don’t have the power to make administrative calls on these situations. The majority of the military are people who only do as told.
I don’t post slanderous videos hating on YouTube because I think your shirt is too revealing. Just like it was your choice to wear a slutty top, it’s these men and women’s choice to serve.
And a little tip for your next video? Stop stumbling all over yourself. Know what in the Hell you’re talking about and do research that is beyond typing www.wikipedia.com.
Lastly, here’s something pretty funny. I’m not pro-war. I’ve never been too fond of this war. But, has anyone ever heard me insult my husband for his choice to join the Navy? No. I support him. I support his shipmates and all the other branches of the military. Not one of them is dumb or morally compromised (at least not for their choice to join). They’re brave. They’re strong. And a good lot of them didn’t join just to fight in the war. A lot of them had personal reasons that had NOTHING to do with wanting to kill.
If you’re so unhappy then move to Iraq. Move to Egypt. Move to North Korea. Where things, I assure you, are not as free and safe as they are here.
Put a shirt on and come back next week.
Sincerely,
A revolted and insulted military wife.
This is me! In all my make-upless, sleepyness wonder! Don’t judge!
PS: mind not the giant stuffed bear on my desk. He’s from Valentine’s Day (my husband likes to embarass me on gushy holidays like that). He’s going to be chilling there while I pack over the next few months for the move down to Virginia!
Also, sorry for the suck angle. Videos aren’t my thing, yo.
My puppy and I playing in the snow. :) He kept barking at the neighbor’s snowman. He didn’t understand! Haha
OMG Brilliant. I love SNL.
Not as funny as I was expecting, BUT. “I wanna bake cookies on your stomach”. HAHAHAHAH.
1930 predictions of what we’d be wearing in the year 2000. “OH! Swish!”
